CEAM Annual Conference
The 2024 CEAM Conference was a success with over 525 registered attendees!
 
Zach Johnson, Lakeville City Engineer, was announced as the 2023 Engineer of the Year. Zach has been an active member of CEAM for many years including serving on the Legislative Committee and as a member of APWA MN. Congratulations to Zach!

This past year the CEAM Executive Committee decided to recognize both transportation and non-transportation project of the year as a way to recognize all of the different infrastructure projects our members are a part of. The 2023 Transportation Project of the Year went to the City of Anoka for their TH 10/169 Improvements Project as pictured below.

The 2023 Non-Transportation Project of the Year went to City of Robbinsdale for their Centralized Softening Water Treatment Plant.

Honorable mentions also went to the City of Detroit Lakes for their West Lake Drive project, and the City of South St. Paul for their Concord Street improvements.
 
 
2024 CEAM Executive Committee Elections

 

The 2024 CEAM Executive Committee elections are complete, and the results were ratified at the February 2, 2024 business meeting. Emails were sent to the 2023 registered CEAM members and voting was open from January 20, 2024 through February 1, 2024.

 

The election results are as follows:

 

President – Mark DuChene

Vice President – Deb Heiser

Secretary/Treasurer – Matt Leonard

Associate Member Public Sector – Jennifer Payne

CEAM Summer Business Meeting
The annual summer business meeting and networking event was held on Wednesday, August 9.  The business meeting was at the Union Depot in St. Paul, followed by networking event at a Saints game at CHS Field.
